"Maggie"...is a young female that was abandoned by her mother. Jennifer Jones found her under a tree in her yard. She waited three days to see if the mother would return. Though she did return once, she didn't take Maggie back to the den with her.

These photos were taken after she had been in the nursery for over a week. Though she looks much better now than when she first arrived, life was beginning to look pretty ugly to this baby. Infested with fly larva and a skin rash, she was one miserable kit....

After lots of baths in special shampoo, some careful work with a needle, and a bunch of antibiotics, two days ago her eyes opened to a much brighter outlook on life.....
4th Week In The Nursery - Age 7-8 Weeks - 14" Nose to Tail
Maggie's come a long way... She's eating well and has even graduated to a larger bottle and nipple... We moved her and Rosie into the large pet carrier together. They're getting along wonderfully.. Her rash has cleared, her sores are healed and she has doubled in size...
Maggie is extremely attached to Rosie... When separated, Maggie will cry until they are together again... She has grow like a weed and is full of energy... Though still smaller than Rosie, she will follow her and do everything with Rosie. When I look at her I can't believe how far she's come from the night she arrived... Snuggle days are about gone.. she is far to busy to stop for snuggles...
